New: Credit notes and enhanced credit tracking

We are thrilled to announce the introduction of our new credit tracking functionality and credit notes. These features will greatly assist providers in managing finances and providing excellent customer service to clients.

Improved credit tracking functionality

Credit tracking is a vital aspect of managing client accounts, especially for NDIS clients. With our new credit tracking functionality, providers can effortlessly keep track of client credits, view credit balances, and apply credits to invoices. This will help avoid billing errors, reduce administrative workload, and enhance client satisfaction.

Introducing credit notes

In addition to credit tracking, we have also introduced credit notes, which allow providers to apply adjustment notes when necessary.

A credit note is a document issued by providers to clients, indicating that a certain amount of money has been credited to the client's account. It is essentially a negative invoice that offsets a previous invoice or a payment.

Credit notes are important for several reasons. Firstly, they provide a record of any adjustments made to a client's account, which can help to prevent disputes or confusion. Secondly, they can be used to correct errors on invoices or to refund customers for returned goods or overpayments. Finally, credit notes are also useful for providers to keep track of their financial transactions and to maintain accurate accounting records.

Xero integration

Our new credit tracking and credit note feature has a significant advantage, which is its integration with Xero, a popular cloud-based accounting software for small and medium-sized businesses. This integration ensures that any credits and credit notes created in Splose are automatically synced to Xero. This two-way integration allows providers to manage their credits and refunds more efficiently by issuing credits and recording refunds in Splose, which is then automatically synced with Xero. This eliminates the need for double entry, saves time and reduces the possibility of errors.
