Progress note templates are an invaluable tool, once you get it right. It's why so many practitioners spend hours building them from scratch. We love to see that kind of ingenuity. But we’ve also noticed a lot of new customers struggle to start from a blank workspace. And for those migrating from other software, even the thought of having to rebuild their templates can be exhausting. We get it. To help solve this problem, we’re rallying our community to help each other out by sharing their most effective splose templates, and potentially walk away with prize money!

Winning templates earn a spot in our library
The winning templates go into the splose template library. Our goal is to continue building a community-curated starting point that's actually been used in real clinical practice. These templates are then available to any splose customer to use, adapt, and build from. If we find useful templates from any of the other submissions, we’ll include them into our library as well, so that the splose community has even more good ideas to build from.
Here’s how to enter the competition
1. Open your template in splose and make sure it's ready to submit. It needs to be natively built in the splose template builder — not simply copy-pasted from Word, Google Docs, or any other external source.
2. Click Save → open the Actions menu → click Submit. This starts the submission flow directly from your template.
Any splose customer in Australia. You must have an active splose account (trial or paid) to submit.
Every practice can submit a maximum of two templates.
No. Templates that don't use AI features are still eligible. But templates that include splose AI or AI Blocks score bonus points in judging.
It depends. You can reference clinical frameworks in how you structure the template, but you can't include standardised outcome measures, assessment scales, or tools that require a commercial licence. If a third party owns the IP in part of your template, it's not eligible. When in doubt, leave it out.
If you win, you still retain ownership of your template's intellectual property rights. However, by entering the competition, you grant splose a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, and adapt your template for any business-related purpose. splose is under no obligation to use your template, and no compensation is provided for its use.
