I'm Abi, I'm an occupational therapist based in Brentwood in Essex.
We hope to provide quality services to children in the local area, in schools and in clinic and support families in schools to help the children with their occupational therapy needs. Before we used splose we used a different practice management software but as the practice grew we found that there features that that software didn't have. The room booking and batch invoicing being key features.
But we also found that other things such as being able to separate appointments from support activities was quite useful. Because we don't invoice per appointment, we tend to invoice in blocks of appointments. Being able to allocate all of those appointments to one invoice in a few easy clicks is really useful. Using Xero integration has been really helpful because it's a two-way integration.
The previous software we used was only one way integration so I had to reconcile invoices twice within Xero and within the software whereas with splose I reconcile them once within Xero and it talks to splose and reconciles them there as well so we can see which items have been paid much more quickly.
We've really enjoyed having embeddable forms which means that we don't have to create a client before sending a waiting list form. That's saved me a lot of time because I've been able to just send a generic email out to people who make an enquiry and then if they fill it in the client is automatically created within splose.
We use splose AI to write progress notes. It's been particularly helpful when we're out and about in the community. I use my phone to record the voice file and then upload the dictation to splose and splose will convert that dictation into a SOAP note which saves me time.
As my practice grows I need a piece of software that will respond to our needs and allow me to grow the team without adding an additional admin burden for me.
And splose meets that need to help me grow my business.
