So I set up Berry Therapy because I felt that there were so many individuals with complex communication needs and not enough highly specialist speech and language therapists, especially in our local area. 

Our mission is to support anyone with complex communication needs to communicate effectively, to participate in the world around them, and we do that by providing specialist technology, tools and therapy to ensure that they can do that. 

So before we had splose, we used a different practice management but in addition to that, that piece of software didn't do everything we needed it to do. We had lots of manual processes and spreadsheets and different types of productivity trackers and this meant that our workflows were quite fragmented.

We knew that we needed a new practice management software and splose had many features that I felt would be really effective for the day to day running of our practice. 

The splose support team were really helpful when we went through our onboarding process. They spent lots of time with us ensuring that all of our client data was transferred over to splose. splose has improved our workflow in several different ways.

One example would be our new inquiries and onboarding process. It seamlessly brings new enquiries from the website into the software, enables us to triage and then allocate those new referrals to our practitioners. But in particular, the one that blew us away when we got started was the ability to add travel to appointments because we see our clients in the community and lots of our week is taken up with travel time and in the past we would have had to manually input travel into diaries so this has saved us so much time. 

I would say different members in the team love different things about splose.So for example, our practice manager loves the ability to manage budgets and cases. I also know that lots of them like that we can colour code appointments as it makes it a lot easier to see what their weeks look like at first glance.

Having splose AI makes our daily workflow a lot more efficient and less overwhelming and the most impressive thing for me is the ability to summarise client progress just with a prompt and that saves so much time when we are writing our reports.
