In September we put out a call to Australian splose customers to share their best progress note templates. We’re pleased to say the community delivered on our call, in outstanding detail. Practices across occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, counselling, social work, psychology, behaviour support and more sent us dozens of high quality templates.
Many of them used splose AI and AI Blocks in smart and unique ways. Some even took the judging team by surprise by showcasing ideas we hadn’t even thought of yet.
Judging is now officially finished and the winners are being notified by email as we speak. Each of our winners will soon receive their well-earned $200 prize.
Thank you to everyone who entered
Before we announce the winners, we’d like to take a minute to thank every practice that took part. We know a good progress note template takes time to build. It reflects years of clinical experience, a lot of trial and error and a clear sense of what your discipline needs to capture. This is what made every entry worth reviewing, irrespective of whether they won.
What we were looking for
We wanted the most useful and effective templates, ones a practitioner could open and start using straight away. The strongest entries had a few things in common:
- Clear structure: Sections that follow how a session runs, so nothing gets missed
- Discipline-specific detail: Language and fields that fit the profession instead of a one-size-fits-all format
- Smart use of splose AI or placeholders: AI Blocks with focused, well-written instructions or use of splose placeholders to save time
- Built for real clinics: Templates that work on a busy day, not just in theory
