splose takes proactive cybersecurity measures
Data encryption
Data is encrypted via SSL in transit and encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
Data residency
For our UK users, your data is stored in the UK. For our international customers, we plan to invest in cloud storage in the EU, US and Canada.
Data backups
We create daily backups of your data, encrypt it and store it securely off-site. All data is stored redundantly at multiple AWS data centres to ensure availability.
Physical security
In addition to our internal security testing, we employ third-party firms to conduct vulnerability assessments. Results are prioritised, triaged, and remediated by our development team.
User login history
splose automatically records every login session, helping admins monitor usage and identify any unusual behaviour.
Password protection & 2FA
All users are required to create a strong password to log into splose. Two-factor authentication is available for all users and provides an extra layer of security.
Users & Permissions
Decide who can access certain data in your workspace by assigning account roles and customising permissions.
Activity changelog
Change log provides an overview of the changes made, the time of changes, and the user who made them.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Simplify your login with one set of credentials for splose and all your favourite tools, offering enhanced security, productivity, and seamless integration.

GDPR Compliance
Data is a powerful tool. It helps us to learn, grow and become better at what we do, but it’s crucial we handle it with care. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a landmark regulation in the EU, setting a comprehensive scope of standards that protect the rights, privacy and security of personal data. splose meets the GDPR’s requirements by implementing stringent data protection measures, transparent policies, and robust security protocols to ensure user consent, data access, portability, and erasure.
Cyber Essentials
Cyber Essentials is a straightforward, government-backed program that helps safeguard your organisation—no matter its size—against a wide range of common cyber threats.
Cyber attacks can vary, but most are quite basic, often carried out by individuals with minimal skills. Think of it like a burglar checking if your front door is unlocked. splose, together with Cyber Essentials is here to help you keep that door firmly shut.
